The Games go home

Is it a good thing that the Crossfit Games are going Home

The Games are coming home. @crossfitranch #Repost @crossfitgames with @get_repost ・・・ We remain fully committed to planning a live competition with live media coverage. At this point, we are concentrating on a competition in Aromas, the original home of the CrossFit Games. We are also evaluating options for virtual competition. We will continue to monitor events globally and will have more details for athletes and fans in the coming months. The Games will not be a public event. Due to sweeping decisions to ban large festivals and sporting events for the foreseeable future, we are suspending the on-site spectator experience for this year. For fans who have purchased tickets, camping, or hospitality packages, Ticketmaster, who holds these payments until after any physical event, will be issuing full refunds. CrossFit will be issuing full refunds to exhibitors. - | @CrossFitRanch #CrossFit #CrossFitGames #Fitness #FittestonEarth

    We think it is.

Crossfit is going back to its roots, it has been for a while. We are all locked down, well a lot of us are at the moment and what is it teaching us. It is teaching us that you can get super fit and super gritty with minimal equipment.

Jocko Willink who we all secretly admire beacuase we definetly want to be getting up at this time

That is literally all his instagram is.

Anyway sorry he says all you really need is a a decent pull up bar some rings for dips, a squat rack and a rowing machine. Oh! a jump rope to. I am with him but I would add the paralette bars though.

We are going back to basics at home and the Crossfit Games are beocming what they deserve to be, which is a platform to watch our heros get down and dirty. It is a shame that the event will not be open to the public CF headquarters were ahead of the curve with their marketing and actually we are all totally ready to watch the games online. Maybe a shame that a few of our favourties won't be able to compete but they probably wouldn't have gotten that far anyway.

I like the idea of the dust at the ranch. that is what really gets me going!
